Devkund Waterfall is located in Roha Taluka near Bhira Dam, Raigad District. Devkund Waterfall from Mumbai is around 170 kms away and from Pune is 110 kms away. The meaning of Kund is small reservoir made to collect rain water for drinking. Dev means Lord. Thus, the local villagers believe that it’s a reservoir made for the Lord. Apart from this mysterious story, Devkund Waterfall resembles the environment to be heavenly.
As far as trek is concerned, reaching Devkund Waterfall is easy. One has to cross to Jungle Trail along with some water streams for around 4 kms
Note: Swimming in Devkund Waterfall is allowed up to a particular point where the pond is shallow. Swimming Further can be fatal as the pond is too deep to swim.
